****** Jackson CAN be adopted without his son OPIE, but PREFER Rehoming them together, IF POSSIBLE. They are a BONDED PAIR -- JACKSON & OPIE -- however, our living situation is desperate! [Jackson-Father & Opie (ID# 17-12-01-00265) Offspring]. JACKSON (JAX) Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier mix DOB: 11/21/13 (4 years old) Weight: 63 lbs. Neutered Micro-chipped JACKSON'S TEMPERAMENT: Moderate energy level; pretty easy-going and laid back, but can also be influenced by other dogs behaviors; Likes to be outdoors, running & chasing critters (turtles, birds, squirrels, etc.). He and Opie will sometimes catch a critter, and try to play with it, which doesn't bode well for the critter; loves to lay outside, just chilling, after he runs around for a while; SOMETIMES gets anxious when crated, during rain or thunder storms, or when he is away from people for too long, and then he will whine; VERY loving & affectionate; excitably jumps up & down like a jack-rabbit at feeding time; usually likes other dogs; NOT socialized to Cats; usually likes people; likes to snuggle with Opie, or people, when sleeping; Loves to 'kiss' people; and finally, he is like Houdini, somehow managing to break out of a crate at times! HEALTH: Mild Skin Allergies, that result in redness on paws and underside of body (possibly from laying in dirt or grass).
