About Harlem

Sweet Harlem is 8years old and soon to be 9 in January! He's a good sweet boy who needs a 30-45min walk a day and then he likes to be wrapped up in blankets on the couch for the rest of the day. He's pretty lazy, doesn't like to play fetch, can't handle long runs (he was hit by a car when he was younger). He does ok with most dogs but a lot of dogs just don't like him so he can sounds a little scary when he fights back but has never hurt any other dog. He is leash aggressive so when you're on walks with him you have to be able to take control and usually avoid walking past other dogs altogether. He has caught and killed a squirrel before so I know if he ever caught a cat it probably wouldn't be good. We have a baby now and she makes him quite nervous. We are super sad to have to find a new home but life has taken some crazy turns for us. He is currently living with my parents in Everett and needs a permanent home ASAP. It's really important to us that we find the right fit for him, he needs someone who will be home a lot to keep him company or he gets lonely and we only want him going to one final home.
