About Xena

I have had Xena since July. I adopted her from a single mom with an 8yo girl. I was told I'm her 4th home in approx 18mos. I have a 4yo son and When she met him, she lunged and snapped at him. After observing her behavior and his interactions with her, I've concluded she seems to be fearfully aggressive. I thought I could slowly get then used to each other but nothing I have tried has worked. I simply can't own a dog I don't trust to be around my son. Currently she is kenneled when he is home but I don't have a fenced in yard to let her burn off excess energy and I hate to see her unhappy. She needs a fur-ever home with a patient owner who has no small children or other pets.
