About Rocky

Looking for a special dog to be your BFF? Rocky might be just the dog for you. He is a 2 year old tan and white Pit Bull mix who has seen a lot of upheaval in his life but is hoping to find his forever home. He was rescued from County by a family whose dogs picked on him so they gave him to a local rescue. When that rescue dissolved Pammy agreed to take him. Rocky is a high-energy dog who loves to play and run. His favorite things in the world are treats, balls, and snuggling with his family. He is non-aggressive and he gets along great with dogs of all sizes. Athough he plays with all size dogs, small dogs might be scared on him if they are unaccustomed to playing with a larger dog. He is WONDERFUL with small children and babies- his best friend is a 10 month old baby girl and they follow each other around all the time. He is completely content to play for hours in the backyard with kids running and jumping on him and taking (or trying to take) his toys. Nothing would make him happier than a high energy family with kids or other dogs who love to play. He is a huge snuggle bug and likes to curl up or sit on your lap. He is kennel and house trained. He would love to take some obedience training with his new family so he can be the best dog ever.
