About Cockatiel

Simon is an adult grey male cockatiel. His friend, Macy, is an adult lutino female cockatiel. They were left on the doorstep of another rescue in town. As they have some minor health issues, we decided to take them in and get them medical help. They are ready to go to a forever home. Our birds are not available for breeding and we do not ship birds, so you must travel to our south Kansas City area facility. Potential adopters must call 816-356-4700 for an appointment, and must fill out an adoption application and pass a screening interview to ensure that our birds are going to a safe home. There is usually a 48 hour waiting period after your interview before you are allowed to adopt because we want people to take time and think thru their decision. Adoption fee for this bird is $40
