About Manny (Moo)

Moo and I have been hit with some hard times due to my health issues. We lost our riverfront home in July and his fenced-in yard became a run. He was not allowed to live in the house with me and his home became a couch in the garage. In Nov I lost my job and we are currently staying with a friend in a very small apartment. He has no opportunity to get proper exercise and the apartment complex is only allowing him to remain for a short time. He has been very loyal and protective of me for the year-and-a-half that I have had him. My heart is broken over not being able to keep my promise to him of a forever home with me. Previous to joining me as my best buddy he was owned by a young boy who he loved very much. He has undergone some seperation anxiety since leaving the young boy and us having to leave our comfortable home. He has acted aggressively toward strangers since our move but gives my friend a big toothy grin in the mornings when she wakes up. I hadn't seen him smile like that since July. Because of his age and stressful situation I feel his home should be without children and he should be crated before meeting anyone new. He needs to be indoors with his family rather than relegated to an outdoor life as he was always an indoor dog.
