Boudreaux is a laid back, yet ready for anything, English Setter mix. He was rescued from the streets of Amarillo so his exact age is unknown, but he is estimated to be about 5 years old. He is polite and loves to lounge, yet he can rough-house and chase squirrels with the best of them. He is the best of both worlds. Boudreaux will be a great fit for any family dynamic. He is great with kids, cats and other dogs. He does not care to be dominated, so he would prefer his companion be friendly and subdued or perhaps be an only dog. He loves to go for walks and walks great on the leash! He just wants to be anywhere his family is. He loves the dog park and gets along well in a group setting. Boudreaux is house trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands such as 'sit', 'come', 'wait' and his name. He loves people and is fine with strangers. He's confident in himself and not shy in new environments. Boudreaux loves to be inside or out. If he is outside, he loves to chase squirrels and birds. He does not try to escape the yard, however, if a gate is left open and he is unattended, he will go exploring. When he's inside, he loves nothing more than to sit with his head in your lap. He is very affectionate and sweet. Boudreaux is in a foster home near Fort Worth, TX. He is healthy, neutered, micro-chipped and current on vaccines and heart worm prevention. He would be a great addition to any family looking for their new best friend.
