I rescued Roadie in 2010 (someone left him stranded on a dirt road in the country) He is a very loyal/protective dog - he prefers to be with people, or his person, most of the time, but loves to lay in the sun and is content in a yard setting. He is currently with my folks (they are retired) and he loves playing ball with my dad. I think Roadie would be the perfect companion for an older couple/individual. He has been around my son since he was 2, but he is 11 now and little attention is paid to my dog. I would love to find a home that has a little room to run and is familiar with cattle breeds. (Red heeler mix) Roadie is a very smart dog - I just didn't have the means to train myself so he could thrive. It breaks my heart to think of not having him, but I need to do what is best for him and hopefully find someone looking for some companionship/TLC from my pup. Thank you for considering my sweets as a new family member in your home.
