I recently adopted Chico from the animal shelter. He showed no aggression towards the other animals and he was very mellow. When I introduced him to my other animals it was very clear he would do best as the only pet. Great dog if you want to lounge around or be active. He loves going on his bike ride or just sleeping on the couch. Housebroken and crate trained. This dog loves people. I don't have kids so I don't know but I think he would do fine as he is very gentle but he is a big dog, 86lbs.
