About CHLOE (Adopt Pending)

Meet CHLOE | FOSTER-TO-ADOPT STATUS | SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONLY | EMAIL: [email protected] | Through no fault of her own, this lil lady has come back to her WDR rescue family. Chloe, formerly known as Presley, was in a home for the last 5 years after being adopted in December 2012. You might recall that she originally came to us from the OC shelter where she'd apparently been hit by a car and had a broken pelvis. Thanks to an incredibly generous sponsor who covered her costly repair surgery, Chloe made a full recovery in one of our foster homes and then found a family to adopt her. Unfortunately people's situations can change, and Chloe's mom felt she could no longer safely provide her a home, so she's back with us and in her original foster home and we hope to find her another family so she can be truly home for the holidays. Chloe is around 8 years young and still looks just as she did when she first left us. She's been a cherished indoor dog since placement and was very well taken care of. She was an only pet with adult parents but had nearby family with beautiful young children and another small female dog who came by often to visit. We think this sweet gal would love to find another quiet, chill home to live out the rest of her life. She had a yard in her last home, but with regular walks, we think she'd also be fine without a private outdoor space. She gets along great with other dogs although super big ones (like the Dane in her foster home) make her more timid. She loooooves people. We hope that her next family won't be gone all the time as we know this type of upheaval can be very stressful for a dog. Chloe is a mellow lady and a nice companion pet as most of her type can be. She's cute as a button and patiently waiting for the right forever family to come scoop her up. During this period, the adopter and dog have a chance to try each other out and make sure this is a perfect match. If things don't work out, the dog will return to the rescue and be able to meet with other adopters. Otherwise, the adopter can finalize the adoption at the end of the FTA period or any time during, at which time our dog listing will be removed. Meanwhile, we are still accepting applications and encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if you are interested in giving this dog a loving home.
