Honey was rescued during Hurricane Harvey. She is a small dog about 18 lbs and was left outside in the backyard of a home in a cage with water rising all around her. She had been kept in the back yard for the last 2 years and was never even given a name by her previous family. They did not even care enough to bring her into safety during a major Hurricane, she was left to weather the storm and try to survive on her own. Honey is a very shy girl when she first meets people but with a little time she comes around and is super sweet. She will be next to you snuggling in no time. She is good with dogs and children. She is good on a leash and is crate trained. She loves to play and has lots of energy. Honey would make a great addition to any family. Honey is Heartworm Positive but has been started on slow kill treatment and is doing great. She should test Negative once treatment is completed If you are interested in Honey, email us at [email protected] and please include a contact phone number. **PLEASE ADD OUR EMAIL TO YOUR EMAIL CONTACT LIST SO THAT OUR REPLY DOES NOT GO TO SPAM**
