About Gibbes

Bluetick Coonhound
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Gibbes was rescued in South Carolina by a family friend who sadly died unexpectedly. I brought him to California as none of his former owner's family members had room or a home for him. He's been with me for six months now but I need to find a forever home for him. Gibbes is a quintessential hound who loves to hunt and needs room to roam. He's great with other dogs. Loves them. Not great with cats but I do have one who's been able to hold her ground with him. He is crate trained and is more than happy to go to his crate for a long sleep. He is very affectionate and bonds strongly with his owner and will rebond to a new owner easily. He is also a fantastic protector. He will be an ideal companion for the right person with the right property and the time to work with him. Needs a large fenced yard. Loves to run errands , would be great with someone who can spend lots of time together time.
