About Boomer

Boomer is a 10 yr old GSP, looking for his forever home. He is older but don't let his age fool you, he's still very active and in great health. This senior guy is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, crate trained, and housebroken. He's been great with the other dogs, not sure about cats but that can be tested. Boomer came into our care not too long ago after being with the same owner for his entire life. He used to be a working bird dog in his younger days. He does have some possession issues with objects that come into his reach and we think that may have a lot to do with his previous hunting days. It isn't necessarily a certain toy/object, just anything that you may try to take from him he gets protective of. Therefore, we feel he'd be best in a home without young children, even though in general, he's great with everyone he meets. He needs someone with time, patience, and love to work with him on his issues but he will make someone an amazing companion! His adoption fee is $250 with an approved application (plus the fee towards mileage for any home visit/possible adoption). There is more information on the adoption application.
