About Baylee

Updated 12/17/17 Spaying and shots completed. Ohio rabies tag valid till 11/30/18. Baylee is just over 1 year old. She is 63.5 pounds and about 21 inches high at the shoulder. She and her sister were dumped into a relatives yard and then rescued by my grandson, who lives with me. She has a laid back, 'surfer dude' personality. She began having violent fights with her sister about 4 months ago, usually over a found treat, or food. Once or twice it seemed to be territorial. Everyone (now) tells me that 2 females will always fight or maybe it was because they were not spayed, but the last several weeks they would start to (seriously) growl even when they just saw each other. After I had to get 8 stitches by accidentally getting between them trying to break up a fight, and with a newborn baby soon to arrive in the house, I have to find them new homes. The county says the will be put down if I send them to their 'shelter'. I don't want that for them, so I am getting them spayed, updating shots, etc. Since Baylee is a short hair breed, she needs an inside home. I don't feel comfortable putting her around children or other dogs, although she has never initiated a fight with the other 2 (smaller) dogs we have here. I really want her to have a good life, but I can no longer provide that for her. I have received several leads on potential homes for Baylee, and am working with a local person to secure a good home for her. Thank you to all that have expressed interest.
