About Dolly

Can't you just get lost in those beautiful eyes? Little Dolly was born with only half a front leg... through no fault of her own she found her way into a local shelter. Thankfully they reached out to us for help with this angel. She's a young girl - only about a year and a half old and small at 14 lbs. She adores people so much and has the most joyful personality despite her disability. She needs someone able to lift and carry her. No one with balance or mobility issues as she insists on hopping right between your feet. She can't move out of the way so it's so easy to trip on her. She literally is glued to her human. Need to understand as she ages she may need more assistance, a flat lot, one story house would work best. She needs someone patient with the house training. She's a vocal little girl and will 'roo roo roo' at you until you pick her up. If you're sitting she will cry and leap until she is able to get in your lap. When she gets excited she nibbles your toes! I don't think she'd do well with young kids because she is defensive if she feels threatened. She does best with other calm small dogs.
