About Maxie

MEET MAXIE! This guy's middle name should be 'Happy'! Maxie Boy is a 3-year-old white-and-black �'��pointer/boxer mix (paperwork may say pittie but he is not), and he has the best personality! He requires an active family or individual to be his human and understand he loves and protects his people. He's a bit shy with new people but he warms up quickly once he he realizes you are cool! Maxie can run and play for hours. He loves the water, and is smart as a whip. He will look you directly in the eye for direction and do as you ask as long as you are an alpha human. The respect factor comes into play with this amazing dog. He will bond with his human(s) and you will be his 'people for life.' Maxie will thrive in an adult-only home situation and can live with a very submissive large breed female after slow, proper introductions. A fenced yard is needed because he is potty trained. He is also kennel-trained and does excellent in the home for periods of time. Maxie enjoys his walks on a leash and does great with an experienced dog person. Maxie also love car rides, loves to talk about the weather and the news, and loves, loves, loves, ice cream! He is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, and is ready for home.
