About Heidi

Adoption Fee: $25
German Shepherd
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

My Dad passed away on 9/8/17, while cleaning out his estate I have been trying to find a new home for his Shepard Heidi. She is a 7 yr old pure Bred black and red Shepard in excellent physical condition. Her veterinarian care is maintained at Walden Animal Clinic. I have all of her medical records in a file Dad kept. The file also includes all of her AKC papers, family line, obedience training and a list of German commands she responds to as well to English. A day in the life of Heidi consists of a morning outing of fetching her beloved tennis ball and bathroom breaks. She has been trained to relieve herself off of the main property so there is no poop scooping. After about 20 minutes of fetch inside we stroll for a much needed drink and a two biscuit snack. After napping we are out in the afternoon after that tennis ball again, she loves that ball, will stare at it with the intent to make it move with her mind. Then in we come for a snack of barkin' bacon strips. At about 5-6 pm it is time for dinner, a nice mix of Old Roy can with gravy and chow, a quick outside and we are done for the day. Before bed she has a denta stick to brush her teeth then sweet dreams. Heidi sometimes likes to hide her biscuits in a chair or non busy corner of the house for a later snack. She enjoys chasing the chipmunks here in the yard. Sometimes when i would visit my Dad Heidi would get a little wound up and we would run around the house chasing one another. Yes we got in trouble for that. Another favorite of Heidi's is tug of war, the knotted rope is an awesome game to play fetch and tug with her. Heidi does not get along with other animals cats or dogs. She also is not to fond of small children. In an adult house hold she would flourish and bring you joy. Heidi sleeps in the door way of my bedroom. She is an excellent protector and will let you know when some one is around. I pray some one out there will see and fall in love with this wonderful, beautiful, loving dog and give her the same safe and happy home she has know with my Dad and me.
