About Ernie

Meet Ernie! This adorable boy is guessed to be about 8-9 yrs old and weighs about 9 lbs. He is great with people and gets along with dogs that aren't in his face. He is very quiet in the house, he is crate trained and has been doing wonderful with his potty habits- he either uses pads or goes outside and hasn't had one accident yet. We also have not seen him lift his leg at all. He likes tummy rubs and treats (3 He is perfection and will make someone an amazing companion. Ernie came to us from the shelter after being found as a stray with his 'brother' Bert. Although Bert and Ernie get along we have not found them to be bonded and will allow them to be placed individually. As we try and get Bert healthy and determine what his long term prognosis is we would love to see Ernie find an amazing home. Ernie's adoption fee of $225 helps cover the cost of his medical care. Ernie is neutered, up to date with vaccinations, heartworm negative, has had bloodwork done and an extensive dental where he lost 28 teeth. Application, reference checks, and home visit required.
