Name: Chet Sex: Male Breed: Beagle mix Age: 6 months Weight: 30 lbs Good with: People and dogs. Not tested with kids or cats My Name is Chet and I have GREAT news!!! I'm now in MA!! I live in a new state and a new foster home, so here is a little more information about me. There is another dog in my new foster home and I LOVE playing with him! The one thing I'm not thrilled about is when he comes near my dog bowl. Foster mom needs to make sure I am fed separately from other dogs and I hope to learn better how not to be so upset about that. Being just a pup, I'm very curious about everything and smelling things in the yard is always interesting. I enjoy getting treats when I'm a good boy and chewing on bones is a favorite activity. When it's time for bed, I can be in my crate or on a bed in foster mom's room. I'm a very good sleeper, especially when I've had plenty of time to exercise off my puppy energy! (This was written when I was still down south): I'm like a big bouncy ball & I can run like a greyhound. In the beginning I'm a bit nervous & reserved when meeting new people & other doggies. I growl & bark at new things, including other animals, until I feel comfortable. I'm all bark and no bite. I get bored very easily & when bored several weeks back I decided to eat my blanket, I ended up having to have emergency surgery. Unfortunately when bored I also like chewing on wood furniture. I will need someone who has time to give me lots of exercise to tire me out. I'm a happy boy who just wants love from my person. I currently live in a foster home in TN with other dogs & a cat. Since having surgery an arriving at my new foster home we are all separated. I've not tried to chase the cat but I am a bit curious. I'm not real gifted with the leash yet but I'm getting there. I also love sleeping with my foster Mom but I will sleep in the crate. I'm house trained and I will let you know when I need to go out by nudging you or running to the door.
