About Chema

Everyone meet chema! He's a handsome, loving, timid, stafforshire terrier/ bonemouth sharpei mix. He is being rehomed through no fault of his own, he just isn't getting the attention he deserves and it's beginning to show in his behavior (chewing on things he shouldn't). He's an absolute sweetheart but is very very timid, so he would need to go to a home who only uses positive reinforcement (which he flourishes on!) and the strongest correction being a stern tone of voice. It takes him a while to warm up to dogs, cats, and humans, but he chooses to just keep his distance, there has never been any outward aggression. He would be the perfect hiking or running partner! Or could even excel in dog sports! Once he warms up to you, he loves to get lovins and he's also quite the talker! His grumbling growl is so cute, you can totally tell that he's trying to tell you something! Chema would be a great addition to the right household, so I hope you give him the chance he so deserves!
