I'm NOVA, a 2-year-old, 24 lb., female Lab mix. I was found as stray with my sister, TULA, and we had never lived in a house before. So we needed to learn how to walk on hardwood floors and climb steps. But now that we've been living the good life, we're happy as clams and can't wait to find our forever home. We'd love to be together, but if we can't it would be nice to be in a house with another dog so I can have a friend. (See the photo of us together.) I'm super affectionate and sweet, but a little cautious when I meet new people. I get over it pretty quickly and love to be loved on after my warm-up period. I'm housebroken, crate trained, and would make for a great office dog. I've been living with teenagers in my foster home, but haven't met small kids or cats yet. I'm a bit scared if you raise your hand near me and don't like having a leash put on. But I'm never aggressive...just worried. In spite of the hurdles I've had to make, I'm a sweet, loving pup who deserves a home where I'll be adored. If you'd like to be my forever human, please come get me soon. I'm NOVA. NOVA is spayed and up to date on core vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are NOVA'S hero!
