About Pretzel

Hi, I'm Pretzel, many remember me as Rex. My foster family have been waiting for a dog to name Pretzel and I came along- brown and the perfect size. I'm named after a Bat. Go figure!! My foster dad is obsessed with a You Tube video of a Bat named Pretzel. I actually however like the name myself. I didn't have a great life. I had pretty irresponsible owners. So glad they are history!! I was never given a chance to meet many people and show what a good dog I am. The trainer that evaluated me said I am very sweet and love people. Boy do I!!! I finally can show everyone who I am and my foster family can tell you what a good boy I am. I love people and I will get excited when I first meet you, and I might jump a little, but I will calm right down. I LOVE food so training me should be easy as I am treat motivated. I know how to sit even though sometimes I try to fake you out to get a treat. I am not perfect but I am willing to learn if you are willing teach me. I get along well with other dogs as long as the introduction is done slowly. Ever since I arrived at my foster home I have done nothing but improve. I used to hate my crate, I mean REALLY hate my crate. Now I walk in all by myself and just wait. It must be the hot dog treats that motivate me. I may be 55 lbs but that will never stop me from trying to convince you that I am really a lap dog....no really I'm not kidding...I am a lap dog. I also love to give kisses and hugs when I am hanging out with everybody. I really just want to be in a home where I am loved, appreciated,and could show a family what a good dog I am. Could you be that family? I sure hope so. Please give me that chance.
