About Lily

Lily is BEAUTIFUL. Please read her story! Lily is a Hurricane Harvey survivor and her family lost EVERYTHING in the floods. They moved to Wimberely and a local rescue offered to foster Lily for awhile but now it seems the foster they had is no longer with them and the person running this rescue is trying to downsize and retire, so Lily needs a new place to go. I messaged with her and she said Lily is 100% house dog and misses her family terribly. :( In the meantime, Lily's owner has had to move to the only place they could find to rent in Wimberley and that place does not take Pit bulls. She has a one year lease. So sadly, after working so hard to try and keep their sweet Lily, they must now find her a new home. Lily is 6 yrs. old...she has lived with a small Pomeranian and is fine with big dogs, as well. She is not good with cats. She does however, love kids! Lily is spayed and she is a very well behaved girl. Here are some things about Lily the owner wants everyone to know: Lily is not a fan of nail trimming (traumatized from nail removal surgery when she split a nail around age 4). She loves bones & will devour any stuffed animal in 2 seconds. Has always loved car rides & adventures - she loves hiking & playgrounds. She even goes down the slide! Has been known to do laps in a nearby pond & truly loves any outside activity. She is the sweetest, &best Protector
