About Esperanza

Esperanza, or Essie. She is about 6 years old. A big girl, close to 70 pounds. she was found on the streets in Texas, chewed up, full of infection, burns around her muzzle and inside her mouth, very sick, heartworm positive. Probably used for a bait dog. She is now all vetted, heartworm negative and healthy. A couch potato but does like to play. She is better with big dogs than little dogs, no cats. Older kids would be fine. She is 100% house trained and crate trained (though does not like the crate). She loves to go on car rides, loves people and attention. Sits very politely for treats and is very mannerly and calm in the house, does not jump up. She does have a lot of scars and is sometimes a little slow when she first gets up but she still loves to play, though usually for shorter periods of time. She loves a good game of tug!
