Hello, friend! I'm Todd. Before you ask, yes - I do know how adorable I am. It's a good thing, too, because I'm not a turn key dog. If you'd like to make me a part of your family, I'd love that! There are some things that you're gonna have to be willing to help me get through, though. Are you ready? First thing is, I REALLY like to be with my family. I like it so much that I've learned how to escape from any crate you can put me in. My foster is helping me learn how to enjoy my time in the crate with treats, but I'm still a work in progress on that front. This frozen kong thing has potential, though. I know how to open doors, too, so if you have lever-style door knobs, you might want to consider changing them, or you might get a surprise when you look in your rear-view mirror and see me trailing you up I-35. Sadly, I lack thumbs, so regular door knobs are enough to defeat me. I have gotten pretty good at not creating a disaster if I'm left loose in the house, as long as you get me some exercise before you go. I'm kinda still a puppy, so I do tend to seek out things like towels, blankets, headphones, remote controls, and even phone chargers if you forget to put them away. You know, dog stuff. I respond well to training redirects, though. Still with me? Great! Thing is, in addition to being the cutest dog you've ever seen, I'm also the smartest you'll ever meet. (Also, I'm modest.) While that can get me in trouble when I'm bored and lonely, it also makes me the kind of dog that you can take everywhere. I love car rides, so try not to instagram my adorable car naps while we're on the road. I'm not too particular on the type of family I'm looking for, so if you have a partner or children to share me with, I love kids! If you're single, I'm a pretty great icebreaker at the bar ���� If the icebreaker part doesn't turn out so well, I'm also a great cuddler. I'd also make a great companion/support dog, so let me know!
