Gigi is a generally good natured 3.5 year old dog who has been living with us for 3 years now. She has territory and dominance issues and she is very strong. She has attacked and hurt our older dog several times now, and we have decided (after many attempts to train her out of this behavior) that it is not acceptable for our other dog to be placed in this danger anymore. Gigi has also bitten an adult friend of ours once when she was startled. In these 3 years, we have come to love her very much as she is a sweet, goofy, and smart dog with a lot of personality. She is crate trained, and has had many hours of obedience training. Our household is a bit chaotic with children and tenants coming and going. Our trainer feels that she would do well in a calmer environment where she can feel more confident. She needs to be the only dog and ideally would go to a home where she would get plenty of activity and attention. It breaks our hearts to re-home her, but feel we have no choice.
