Meet Wolfe! Husky/Shepherd Mix About 7 Years Old Hello there! My name is Wolfe and am looking for my forever family. Don't get me wrong, my foster family is fantastic, but they say there is a family out there just waiting to meet me! I came to Illinois from Tennessee and I must say the weather suits me more up here'|boy was it HOT in Tennessee. I am doing great with my foster dog 'siblings' of all sizes and ages and also there is a cat...yes cat in the house! One of the neat things I discovered here in Illinois is that there are lots more sirens from fire trucks and police cars. I love to hear those sirens sing and lots of times I sing right along'|my foster family thinks this is so funny, but when your jam comes on, you HAVE to sing, right? When I got here, I wasn't sitting very well so they took me to the vet to see what was going on. It turns out I might have been hit by a car because one of my legs has healed after what they called a bad break. After getting some good food and some vitamins, I started taking longer and longer walks and I sure do enjoy them! I behave well on a leash, going out together with one or two of my new friends every morning and evening for walks and hanging out in the yard with all of them. I am a good house citizen and really enjoy all the petting and cuddling that I get indoors. I also found out about this thing called a brush and it feels SOOOO good! My fur was a matted mess when I arrived here, but now it is smooth and silky. They say that I am about 7 years old, but I don't feel like it. I have a good energy level and really enjoy going out with my foster and new friends. What I would really love is a family that will take me on walks so we can help each other stay young. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details.
