About Compass

Adoption Fee: $250.00
Siberian Husky
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet Compass! A 3 year old that is ALL husky. He is sweet as can be and loves his humans as well as fur friends who can handle his rough husky play. Compass was named after his love for getting out and exploring the world. Because he carries this wonderful trait that many huskies also hold, Compass needs a home with a very secure yard and a family to give him plenty of exercise and stimulation. An ideal home for Compass would be one that would bring him places such as the dog park or out in public so that he could fulfill his passion to see the world. Compass is a very smart and talented boy and is completely housebroken, knows commands, and doesn't mind sharing. He hasn't been completely tested with cats but seemed to ignore them when walking by at the shelter. This sweet boy is counting on us to point him in the right direction of a family who has the patience and desire to include him in their lives. Could you be Compass's true North? He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and ready for forever. Adoption fee is $250. '%BC%8FPLEASE READ'%BC%8F If interested in adopting, fill out the adoption application at www.huskyhavenfl.org Once we've received it, we will begin processing it. Please understand we are a volunteer based organization so we cannot set a timeline on application review, however, we work hard to process as fast as we can. It's very important that you fill out the application COMPLETELY. Missing information will delay the process, especially vet phone numbers, references, and info on pets. All of the questions regarding the available pets and their personalities can be found in this bio. Many times we get asked for additional photos. We DO NOT have any additional photos other than the ones posted on our website and we try to be as accurate as we can in each pet's bio. Please read each bio carefully, all information that we know is there. If it's not there we do not know the answer just yet or may never know the answer. Many of these dogs come to us with a history unknown. Additionally, all of our dogs are in foster homes. We DO NOT have a shelter or physical location. The dogs are in private homes with families. Therefore, you must have an approved application prior to setting up a meet and greet. Finally, thank you for your interest in adoption. Your application is KEY. Many times, we find the dog applied for by the applicant might not be the best fit for their family. We will then suggest another dog if available that will be better suited.
