Princess Leia is a whole lot of dog in a manageable medium size at about 38 pounds. I got her about a year ago from the SPCA. I was drawn to her initial sweetness, intelligence, size, and cuteness. She has turned out to be more than I can handle however due to her strong tendency to resource guard and overprotectiveness of me. She is athletic, clever, and can be very sweet. She has a lot of potential to be a great companion for someone but only if they are used to handling or dealing with dogs that can be aggressive. She would also fit best with a single owner with no kids around or any aspirations of having a family. She is currently on medication as recommended by the vet to help with the everyday household aggression and the meds have helped with that some. I had her DNA tested and she is 37.5% miniature pinscher, 25% Australian cattle dog, 25% asian/hound mix (probably the 'Carolina dog' in her), and 12.5% American Staffordshire terrier. She has potential to be a great companion if there is a proper fit out there to provide her with the life she deserves. She loves the sunshine, loves to chew her bones, play tug or keep away, and loves hikes in the woods. She'll get any bug out of your house and keep your yard critter free. If you have experience with this type of dog and think you can help her then please don't hesitate. Thank you
