About Jack

Jack is 13 years old, weighs about 6lbs, he's in good shape but loves to eat and get fat if given the option. Loves the lap dog life, snuggling is his favorite activity after food, if not on lap he lives under a blanket. Food obsessed and competitive but manageable. He can be sassy with other animals but usually just the first meeting to let them know he's 'bigger' than them. Can be anxious and easily excited, his bladder is on a hair trigger when he's stressed, he prefers to approach people when he's ready rather than being approached, he's shy and will tinkle out of excitement or nerves. He doesn't like to be carried, very independent but loving especially if you'll let him lick. Doesn't like kids, he'll bully them but nothing more than barking, he's all bark and no bite. He loves chasing birds but has a harder time seeing them these days, the beach is his favorite place because seagulls. He likes to explore so a fenced in yard or strong supervision is necessary. Does not enjoy dog parks, prefers to play with humans and other small male make dogs. Would do best with human only home so he can run the show unchallenged but puts up with other animals fine. Sweet little dude that loves to snuggle and has unusually soft fur. Looking for his perfect retirement home.
