We have had Ollie for a couple of weeks now. We took him from an elderly neighbor that was being moved to a home. They were desperately looking for someone to take him so he wouldn't have to go to a shelter. Unfortunately we can only keep him so long. He loves people and loves to cuddle up with you wherever you are. He will happily follow you around all day. He is spunky and playful especially for 12 years old. He gets along very well with other dogs. He has been great with my kids (ages 10 and 14), But I have not seen him around younger children. I think he will do fine with little kids and cats but I didn't check those boxes because I have not exposed him to those environments. He is a very happy little guy. At my place, he has a companion in my dog (6 year old mini schnauzer). They spend the days outside and the evenings in with us. He knows how to use a doggy door and sleeps in a crate. He took to the crate with ease, which leads me to believe he was crate trained from the beginning. He is potty trained. He will make a great companion for someone. He has a lot of personality. We travel a lot and quite often have to board our Schnauzer. We just can't afford a second dog in our life right now.
