About Playboy

This beautiful boy spent a year of his life in a shelter. They took phenomenal care of him, but that's still no place for a dog to live!! Wanting to name him after a POW, I went for the first one I thought of - McCain. And McCains call sign while in the navy was... Playboy!! Playboy is around three years old and nearing 80lbs. He's totally housebroke, totally vetted, is great with kids and other dogs of all sizes, and does well with kids. He already knows how to sit and shake, and will come when called. He enjoys jogs in the morning and hiking on the weekends, but most of the time is happily napping on the cool tile or in the couch corner. He's a big fan of water, and we take him to our neighborhood pond regularly for a dip. Playboy is excellent with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, he can play very gently and is a big pushover (the terriers run all over him!). He loves his crate, has no food or toy aggression, and is a great snuggler. Now, he does have two 'cons': he is strong in a leash (but we are working in it!) and protective of his home and family. That second thing I consider a pro, but if you are a big entertainer with a revolving front door your home will stress this baby boy out! Please email [email protected] for an application.
