About Sadie

Meet Sadie! This beautiful girl has gone through so much in her short life. Left outside for the first year of her life Sadie was not used to be around people. She landed in a Texas kill shelter scared and confused. We pulled her to safety and she spent the next 6 months with a loving foster family who was very patient with her giving the time she needed to feel comfortable and start coming out of her shell. She was adopted by a wonderful family but after a year their situation changed and it was not a change Sadie was able to adapt to. She is back with us and ready to find her forever home. Sadie is shy and is uncomfortable in new situations but once she knows you and feels comfortable she is an absolute doll! She loves playing with other friendly dogs. A single person or couple without children that is willing to be patient and let her feel comfortable at her own pace would be ideal. She would do best in a quieter home that could offer her a regular routine and consistency. Sadie likes the security of other dogs and it gives her more confidence, so a home with one or more friendly canine companions is preferred. She likes to go for walks and does very well on leash but prefers a route without alot of noise or crowds. Sadie is a diamond in the rough and she is so worth the effort :) This is 3-4 years old girl is 35 lbs., spayed, UTD on all vaccines, current on monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, and micro chipped.
