About Nikolai

Think of a cold Russian winter, shivering and wishing for someone to snuggle up to...and now add a warm Russian cat to save the day! Nikolai is a 3.5 year old Russian blue mix kitty who originally came to ACL from a high volume shelter when he was just a baby. He was adopted by a great family and had three fun years with them, but sadly their housing situation changed and Nikolai just couldn't stay anymore. He's back at the shelter looking for a warm home to bring him in out of the cold. Nikolai is a spunky cat with tons of intelligence and mischievousness. He is affection when he wants to be, and playful when he wants to be - things happen on Nikolai's time. He's a smart cat with loads of purrsonality. Nikolai would much prefer an adult only home that has some previous experience with felines. He hasn't had much exposure to other animals, but with a proper, slow introduction, Nikolai can probably learn to adjust to independent, mellow cats and dogs who don't need him to hang out all the time.
