About Bessie

***Bessie is ready for her furever family*** Please share She's around 3 years old. A Great Dane mix. She's a bit timid when she meets people but comes around with a little bit of patience. And the shyness is improving daily. She's housebroken & has good house manners. She will need a fenced in yard. No cats because she chases outdoor cats. She likes little dogs & is some times scared of bigger dogs art first. She does seem to prefer laid back dogs that give her space until she's comfortable with them. She loves her people & only wants to go outside to potty but is happy to be outside with her family. She doesn't like to be left outside alone for long although if it's with another dog she's good for a bit to play. She's terrified of thunderstorms & will hide & shake. We're sure that's a result of being stray through the thunderstorms & fireworks. Bessie has been through ALOT. Stray from before July 1 until July 11. Through all the thunderstorms & fireworks. She was pregnant & it was clearly not her first litter. She was absolutely scared to death when we picked her up but she warmed up to us. 2 weeks later, she gave birth to Moonie & Skid. 8 puppies were still born & she also had a little girl that passed away a few days later. All we believe because of the stress & malnutrition. She was a great mom to Moonie & Skid. Now she deserves to find a family of her own. She's spayed, UTD on all her shots & preventatives.
