Meet Lulu!! She was rescued from San Diego Humane while we were on vacation in cali! We fell in love & had to rescue her. She originally came in to SD Humane as a stray on Sept 6th. She was there for a little over 2 months! We just couldn't let her sit there a moment longer! Lulu at some point had her back paws surgically removed. We unfortunately don't know when or why they had to be amputated since she came into the shelter that way. For now to get around she can scoot herself around and she does fantastic in her wheel chair! We are going to be looking into prosthetics for her as well since she is not paralyzed we believe she may be a great candidate :) She is fine with other dogs but definitely more of a 'people' doggie :) We are not sure how she would be with kitties but I imagine just fine. She can be shy at first so we recommend older, gentle kiddos :) Lulu is not believed to be incontinent but she is not yet potty trained. Since she is brand new to us, & fresh out of the shelter, we are going to get her on a routine :) She does use pee pads at times & is great in a crate. Lulu loves to cuddle her people & loves to go out on walks in her wheelchair & explore this beautiful world! Please let us know if you're interested in adopting this gorgeous girl! Obviously she will need a committed & patient home prepared to take on her special needs. She is spayed, vaccinated & microchipped.
