Polar is a 10 month old, 30 pound Labrador mix. He is a happy boy and plays really well with other dogs. Polar is still learning and need a family with patience who will give him time to trust and come out of his shell. He is a shy guy but he wants to trust and be loved. Polar will take a little time to adjust to a new place. Polar is one of the 29 dogs Fur Fun Rescue took in from Arkansas after Hurricane Harvey. Polar and his 5 litter mates came into the shelter in November 2016 when they were two weeks old and were nursed by a surrogate mama. Before coming into our foster home he had spent his entire life in a shelter. Polar was scared when he arrived at his foster home, the whole world was new to him. He is doing really well and has learned a lot in a very short time. Polar would like a home with another dog to show him the ropes and a fenced yard so he can run and play safely. He is house and kennel trained. Polar would not enjoy a home with young children, the noise and activity would scare him. Polar is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested. If you would like to meet Polar, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org.
