About Debbie

Hi there, I'm Debbie! I am a small pit mix about a year and a half old. A few months ago I found myself in the shelter, unclaimed, and covered with demodex mange. I was in pain, because I had very little fur, and my skin was raw and covered in scabs. I yelped when the rescue volunteer lifted me out of the shelter kennel. Since being in my foster home, I have blossomed! I am fully recovered and my foster mom says my fur is so soft now! I am full grown at about 45 lbs. I am great with dogs and cats in my foster home. I am submissive and trying to build my confidence. I am very playful, and would loooove a confident playmate to help me come out of my shell. That being said, I would also be okay being your one and only, and maybe a running partner. If you have limited time, I'd do great in a doggie daycare class once or twice a week! It would help me burn energy, and build and maintain my confidence with socialization! I would do well in any household that includes a lap because I love to be close.
