Her master died about 6 monthso ago and her daughter neglected Gert. The daughter gave her to me (letter relinquishing her to me is at my vets) about 7-8 weeks ago. Gert was about 15 # underweight. Treated for an intestinal parasite and is gaining weight and more strength and energy. She is about 80% deaf. She is well behaved and gets a tad bit territorial with her toys.
