Adoption Fee: $295
Treeing Walker Coonhound / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

William-male Hound mix About 1 year old About 50 lbs Meet William. This beautiful boy is perfectly house trained and completely crate trained. He gets along with children of all ages and cats. He gets along with other dogs but needs time to warm up to them. His wonderful personality has all the instincts of a hound. William eats twice a day, gets 3 walks a day, and sleeps through the night. William is the perfect family dog. He is the most loving dog to everyone he lives with and everyone he meets. He greets all humans with total affection. William lives with 6 kids (2,5,9,11,13,15). He loves when everyone's friends come over. He plays fetch with them everyday! This loving dog is still learning but completely trainable. He had a first training session with a dog trainer at Petco and was evaluated as the perfect dog to teach. In the first week he learned how to sit and wait for a treat, shake his paw, and lay down. He also can ring a bell on the door to let us know when to let him out! William has plenty of happy energy to last all day and loves going for evening walks with his foster's pack. He is all about playing, chewing and sharing the nylabones, rope toys, and tennis balls. He has never chewed on his foster's shoes, hats, or the remote control. He doesn't even chew on his fosters toys!! Did I mention he loves to ride in the car! William needs a furever home that will help him to get better at meeting new dogs. He needs to be trained in greeting them. He is improving every day with consistency and opportunities to meet new dogs but still needs a little work. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details.
