About Aspen

Aspen is a wonderful 4 year old rescue from a high kill shelter in South Carolina. Sadly, before he was brought to the shelter, he was tied up outdoors, where he spent all day and all night! We had him transported to CT, shaved him down, and cleaned him up! He loves to spend his time outside, rolling in the dirt, playing with other dogs, guarding our chickens, and napping on the deck! Aspen absolutely adores getting pet and brushed, and will go totally limp in your arms! We are looking an adopter with a STRONG KNOWLEDGE of the GREAT PYRENEES breed, and a HOME WITH A FENCE AT LEAST 5 FEET HIGH. We also want Aspen's new adopter to be able to let him have LOTS OF TIME OUTSIDE, PREFERABLY WITH SOME KIND OF JOB LIKE GUARDING CHICKENS OR OTHER KINDS OF LIVESTOCK.
