Stewie is an 8 year old female who falls in love with one person and never wants to leave their side. Unfortunately, she lost her first love, an elderly man who passed away. After he died, family members took her temporarily and then brought her to a shelter, where she was so distraught she would not let anyone near her and was mistaken for a feral cat and eartipped. The Mt. Olive TNR Project removed her from the shelter and placed her in a foster home, where she slowly recovered and fell in love with her fosterer, who she now follows around the house. She is funny and quirky-- she really loves to watch youtube videos of birds, slees next to her fosterer with her head on the pillow, lay on her fosterer's chest, and play with anything and everything. She is curious and likes to explore. She is very affectionate with her fosterer but prefers that no one else touch her, though she will sit next to other people and even climb onto their laps, and prefers keeping all four feet on the ground. She gets along fine with other cats but would also be happy as an only cat where she can get all the attention. She needs an experienced adopter who will give her the time she needs to adjust, and would do best in a quiet adult home. Stewie is spayed, up to date on shots, negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. To visit her at her foster home in Rockaway, please contact the Mt. Olive TNR Project at firstname.lastname@example.org or (973) 804-6273 or fill out their short online application at www.mtolivetnr.org. Her adoption fee is $80 but can be waived for the right home.
