Though my name is Red, I prefer to be called 'Bubba Red'... it seems more endearing to me. Now don't get me wrong, I am not a big softie... I will bark to let you know someone is at the house, But that is actually all I do. Once you and I get bonded I am your guardian for life, I will stick by you and sometimes have a hard time being without you. There are things that scare me though out in the world - big trucks, skateboards, bikes, basically anything that moves fast. I wish I could explain to my foster angel why but she is really helping me learn not to be fearful of fast moving things. I love people, (did I mention I will be your guardian for life?). I've met big people and some medium sized people... I prefer the bigger people, only because the smaller the get the faster they seem to dart around!! I love getting petted but sometimes flinch with a sudden touch; like I said, I wish I could explain what happened to me when I was younger that makes me flinch but my foster angel seems to understand and so I flinch less as I know they are gentle touches I am getting. I have never been aggressive, I love my people too much, and unless there is a dog that is trying to scare me or I feel might threaten you or I, I love them too. I am basically a big softie (THERE! I said it) with a heart of gold encased in a beautiful red body looking to find my forever people.... Is it you??? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
