About Yoshi

I just pulled Yoshi out of a county animal shelter. She is very upset and terrified. She hisses and swats with her paws but I have picked her up anyway and she settled a bit. She hides from the other cats and the one small dog so I think an only pet home or maybe older settled cats would be best. Due to her anxiety, no small children. She may need weeks or months to settle into her new home, she is very traumatised. I prefer a Persian Savvy home. Her fur is not the thick matting kind. I have seen little to no shedding. This cat needs a very patient home who will give her time to get used things. Even as upset as she is , she is using the litter box. She is spayed and declawed. Probably the declawing made her more defensive and frightened. I hope she can find a good home , with 3 cats and 4 dogs my home is not a good one for her. Update: I have had Yoshi for 2 weeks and she is not hissing at us anymore. She spends a lot of time lying around on the bed. She loves to be petted but squirms if you pick her up. If the dogs start barking it frightens her and she runs under the bed. Still hoping for a quiet home for her. She doesn't mind the other cats or my tiny dog at all but is terrified of the big dogs. Still hoping to find her a quiet home as it is not fair to my dogs to keep them down stairs all the time.
