Brooke is generally agreeable 7 year old lab/pit mix, about 60 to 70lbs. She's dog aggressive but very friendly with people (she is really only tolerant of children, but she hasn't ever hurt my child and she likes to lick kids' faces) She is house trained but not otherwise (no tricks; she knows sit and lay down but is pretty stubborn and free willed). She enjoys being pet and likes to chew but she's not destructive (she will break her toys, though, if they're not tough). She can be nervous and does not like loud noises or fast/large body movements, like waving your arms, but she mostly barks about it. She doesn't bite (she may snap if provoked but has never bitten), but she does like rough play, but she will wait for you to initiate and when she play bites she never breaks skin. If you sit on the floor with her she will lick your face and may try to sit in your lap. She needs a home by 11/14/2017. I will be staying with a friend who has pets of their own who are also not pet friendly. I may be able to hold her for another night or two after that if you need time to make arrangements, but beyond that she will likely go to a shelter that will euthanize her. She currently has fleas and intestinal worms, and she's not up to date on her shots (she did have them around 3 years ago), but she is spayed and has no other health problems. The picture of her is her at 2 years of age; she has some greying around the nose but largely looks the same.
