**** TRAINED SERVICE DOG - AID, ASSIST & ALERT *** 'MICKEY MOUSE' is an exceptionally sweet, docile, loving, 80 + lb Lab/Great Dane mix boy who we rescued from a very high kill pound. Mickey is a good, good boy that doesn't have a mean bone in his body, like a cute little puppy that just kept getting bigger. Mickey is smart and eager to please; he has beautiful, intelligent eyes. He likes other dogs, but could be an only dog. Mickey is a complete individual. He is good and respectful with cats. He likes to occasionally 'hug' and may gently jump up on the person he loves, which could make him a great candidate to work with autistic individuals. He is generally very quiet, but can be a 'talker', especially when he sees his dinner being prepared. It is really cute. He likes tennis balls and flavored chew toys. He loves big beef bones. Mickey Mouse would love to be a lap dog. When Mickey hears the biscuit container open at night he knows it is bed time. He runs to his kennel and opens the door with his foot. Mickey Mouse is neutered, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
