About Sage

Sage is a quiet little girl. Some of that is due to her shyness but we do notice that she is quiet with the other dogs as well. She doesn't get bossy with anyone, even if she is being pushed away from the food bowls. She likes to take naps and be relaxed. Sage is still very shy and will need an adopter who is willing to work with her. She is working on housetraining and leash training but has not yet accomplished either. Sage was completely paralyzed back legs when she came in. Took to IVRC and she was not considered a good candidate for surgery. Sage has been receiving water therapy which has helped bring some movement to her legs. Sage is a 6 year old pekingese. She weighs about 12.8 pounds. Sage came to us from a breeder.
