About Zoey

Meet Zoey! She is guessed to be a Boxer mix, about 9 months old. We got her from someone who's schedule was getting too busy for her. She was born in a shelter in Kansas City & we are only her second home ever. We initially got her to be a buddy for our existing dog because we are having our first child in January & wanted him to have a friend for when we are busy...She is a sweet dog, unfortunately, our existing dog just 'tolerates' her. She is VERY playful and VERY energetic. LOVES TO PLAY! Our other dog is not like this so she is an annoyance to him. She is friendly, loves to love on people but she is still learning about kids. Example: 3 year old niece was walking around with pizza and she just took it out of her hand. She could use some manners I guess. She will walk on a leash with the front lead harness that lessens her pulling. She is housebroken with the exception that she needs to be let out multiple times to go potty. Microchipped and was UTD on everything when we got her a few months ago. She does know her name, 'sit' command and LOVES FETCH and LOVES her toys! She is not a bad girl, she is just more work than what we were originally told and she needs someone with more time or another dog with more energy to match hers.
