Hondo was rescued on the NM/TX border. He is a 1 •À%BD%BD year old, ~50 lbs. Doberman male. What Hondo lacks in size he makes up for in personality. He's very sweet and full of puppy energy. He is now house trained and uses a dog door. He knows sit and is learning stay (which he knows at feeding time - will sit and stay until told 'ok'). He no longer gets on furniture. He is not crate trained. Hondo Gets along great with his foster sister although she gets annoyed with him from time to time. Has not met a human he doesn't want attention from. He is an attention hog and needs to learn some self control. He is eager to please and a true Velcro dobie. He currently spends his running around and protecting an acre of land with his foster sister and his nights on soft blankets at the foot of the bed always right next to her. He would do best with a person or family who has time to give him lots of exercise and some training. He would also do well with another dog with similar energy. With a little work he's going to be a great companion! All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming.
