About Bonnie

This fluffy 8 year old black-tri female with a full tail is Bonnie and she is one of the most laid back Aussies her foster family has ever had in their house. She is currently being fostered in a home with 3 very active male Aussies ranging in age from just under 2 years old to just over 7 years old and she gets along wonderfully with them. Bonnie is overweight and has the green beans and pumpkin added her dry kibble to work on getting that extra weight off. She has an allergy to wheat so it is important to pay attention to the ingredients in her food and treats which is not difficult given the vast choices available nowadays. Because she is such a low key and well behaved girl, she has free reign of the house when her foster parents are at work. She is crate trained, housebroken and a delight to take for walks as she just strolls along with you. She does suffer from some arthritis in her backend and takes an anti-inflammatory to ease the pain (another reason she needs to lose the excess weight). She enjoys naps on the couch and wandering around outside in the yard. If you want a dog that makes you smile and forget your bad day at work as soon as you open the front door of your house, Bonnie is the one for you. She gets so excited to see her people that she will hop up and down when she greets you. Her sweetness will melt your heart. She has been tested to be good with cats and rides very well in the car. If you are searching for that perfect, trained and lovable companion that you don't have to worry is going to get into something when you are not looking or steal your favorite pair of shoes and chew them up, then Bonnie is the one for you. Please note: Up until recently when she came into the rescue program, Bonnie lived with Buster (also available for adoption) and missed him terribly when they went to separate foster homes.
